Writing Poetry with Literary Journals [Carolyne Wright]
All Levels. The literary periodical can provide our first models for publishable work, and also the market to which we first submit our work. Using recent issues of a few literary magazines as models, we will allow ourselves to be inspired by work published in them (poems, flash prose), and generate prompts from this work as writing exercises for the workshop. You may also submit some of your own work to these magazines—these magazines, and others like them, are your markets!
