Writing the Short Film
In this class, we’ll cover the most crucial elements of storytelling for the screen and dive into exploring the stories we want to tell. Crafting a film is a journey. Writing our scripts is only the first peak—we need characters and ideas we want to live with and explore. We’ll learn about character, conflict, structure, and dialogue. Through lecture and discussion, in-class writing, and workshopping, each student will craft a short film script ready for revision and production.
