Many write what haunts us—to heal, discover, exorcise, make meaning, celebrate survival, and/or reach for connection. In a highly supportive environment, we'll explore access points to writing trauma, self-care for the process, and sticky issues of impact (on self and others). We'll generate new work, focus significantly on craft, and discuss the joys and challenges of writing about trauma. Students will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their writing from the instructor at least once.
