Intermediate | Explore works by transgender authors like Ryka Aoki, Eli Clare, kari edwards, and CA Conrad. Through nonbinary prompts and transtextual exercises, students will be incited to generate their own convention-defying works. By reading and writing across genre, writers will grapple with transgender literature’s place in culture as well as discover how it relates to and can enrich can their writing practices. All writers are welcome; LGB and especially T writers will be welcomed most warmly.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
