Introductory / Intermediate | Discover how to implement strategies for a nonfiction writing career. Using in-class exercises and assignments, we’ll study markets, come up with ideas, learn how to interview, write to specifications, and generate lots of business. Assignments will be tailored according to previous experience and personal interest, and will include essays, op-eds, copy and ghostwriting, shorts/ FOBs, and articles.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
