Have you wanted your characters’ voices, narrative voice, or your own writerly voice to sound more singular? Sometimes it’s a struggle to differentiate characters’ voices from the narrator’s or the writer’s. We will explore all elements of voice and discover the dynamic roles that voice plays within a story. Expect lots of in-class exercises and some playful experiments, as well as reading and text comparison.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
