All Levels | In this class, you’ll learn how a professional developmental editor looks at the “big picture” of a novel—including plot, characterization, setting, pacing, and craft—and how to apply that same perspective to your own work. We’ll explore specific questions you can ask as you’re re-reading your work, exercises to help you see your work from a fresh perspective, common issues that trip up writers, and a few tips and tricks to help you tackle revisions.
Beginning Fall 2021, we will be adding select in-person classes back to our course catalog. The majority of our classes will still be offered via Zoom.
If a class says IN-PERSON in its title, it will take place in person at our permanent home in Seattle.
If a class says ASYNCHRONOUS in its title, it will take place on Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform.
If a class does not have a marker after its title, it will take place via Zoom.
