Very rough drafts are helpful to the progress of your novel, but even for that, you need a good sense of where you’re going and how to get there before you start. But how do you decide where you’re going until you meet your characters, hear their voices, and write or play or get lost a bit? This class is novel prep; it will get you ready to start writing your novel, for NaNoWriMo or otherwise. Please bring a book idea to work on.
Beginning Fall 2021, we will be adding select in-person classes back to our course catalog. The majority of our classes will still be offered via Zoom.
