Although writers tend to be bookish types, at some point you’ll need to discuss or read your work in front of an audience, or be interviewed on TV or radio. In this session, you’ll learn (and practice!) how to speak into a mic, do a public reading, read an audience, and use comedy techniques such as callbacks and other tips to win over a crowd, plus strategies to help with stage fright.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
