All Levels. This four-week workshop will guide students through the stages of drafting original short-short stories and vignettes, from the opening stance of the narrator to the final reveal. Students can expect to come away with a wealth of new short material and to apply techniques—such as fairness, repetition, ins, outs, and “pushing”—used by short-story writers Amy Hempel, Sam Lipsyte, and Richard Ford.
This class is conducted online through WetInk. It can be taken at your own pace between the start and end dates. More information on accessing the class will be provided upon registration.
