All Levels | Dear Writers: Few literary structures are so simultaneously ancient and modern, so ripe for comedy or earnestness, as the open letter. In these two sessions, we’ll dive into humorous hate mail, love letters to strangers, McSweeney’s-style satire, and other missives. We’ll spend one session on readings and exercises, and another workshopping and discussing your own open letters, based on readings and prompts.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
