Urgent Care: Revision Clinic

All Levels | Have an essay, story, or chapter that’s doing poorly but you don’t know how to revise it? Bring it to the clinic! We’ll diagnose what’s ailing it, discuss treatment options, and apply remedies. One week before class, students will email their pages (10 p. max, double-spaced) to the group. We’ll read all the submissions, and at the first session, we’ll discuss revision techniques, determine which could best help each manuscript, and revise our openings. At the second session, we’ll bring in our full revisions, assess them, and create a plan to finalize our manuscripts.
