Worldbuilding: Outside and In

All Levels | All fiction writers engage in worldbuilding. The first three weeks of this class will look at how to build exterior worlds, including place, culture, and atmosphere. The next two weeks will explore the interior world of needs, wants, fears, repressed desires, and wounds your character hides, including how this interior history shows up in their actions. The final week will be workshopping.

Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Spring quarter 2021.

All times are listed in Pacific Time.
