Writing Trauma

All Levels | Many of us write what haunts us—in order to heal, discover, exorcise, make meaning of, celebrate survival, and/or reach for connection. In a highly supportive environment we’ll explore access points to writing trauma, self-care for the process, and sticky issues of impact (on self and others). We’ll generate new work, focus significantly on craft, and discuss joys and challenges of writing about trauma. Students will have opportunity for feedback on their writing from instructor at least once.
