Whether you’re struggling to write your first poem or have a few novels under your belt, Hugo House has a class for you.
We offer classes focused on generating writing—if you need a kick-start or want to try something new—as well as craft-based workshops for the writers who want feedback and guidance on everything from line breaks to the last chapter.
We also offer reading seminars on books and authors that span genres and generations and classes on marketing, developmental editing, publishing, pitching and finding an agent, all taught by well-known and emerging teachers and writers.
In each of our classes, ranging from half-day workshops to ten-week master classes offered on a quarterly basis, you'll find a cozy space where you'll meet other writers and readers, share ideas and get some writing done.
