Each month, we host a Silent Reading Night with a rotating theme and a featured community partner. This month, we’re thrilled to highlight our friends at Book Larder! Bring your coziest and most comforting book to read with the Hugo House community!
Event Schedule
- 6:00 PM – Mix & Mingle (enjoy tea, meet fellow readers, and purchase a cookbook from Book Larder)
- 6:30 PM – Silent Reading Begins
- 7:30 PM – Recipe swap. Bring copies of your favorite recipe to share with the community! Notecards will also be provided.
- 7:45 PM – Silent Reading Resumes
- 8:30 PM – Social Time & Book Chats
- 9:00 PM – Event Ends
Additional Details
- BYOM – Bring Your Own Mug!
- We’ll have hot water available and encourage guests to bring their favorite teas to share.
- This event is part of our ongoing Silent Reading Night series, each featuring a new theme to spark joyful, communal reading.
- Cookbook Bingo sheets will also be available at the front desk! In order to participate, peruse through the cookbooks in the "cookbook library" and mark off the recipes you're able to find. Once you complete the bingo sheet, bring it to the event organizer, Nat, to claim your Hugo House tote! Please note that totes will only be given out to the first 20 individuals.
