Ashley Adair is the owner and founder of Beguiled Books, Seattle's original romance bookstore. She launched the business as a mobile 'booktique' in a renovated cargo trailer before expanding into a brick-and-mortar storefront in Pioneer Square in 2025. Prior to opening Beguiled, she spent 15 years in human resources and earned her MBA from Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. She is a life-long romance reader and has been a fan of the genre since she could steal her grandma's Harlequins.Â
