Narrative Game Jam
Seattle Indies is partnering with Hugo House to run a narrative game jam from Aug 15th to Aug 16th. Participants will work in groups (or solo) to complete an entire narrative game in the time allotted. Food and drinks will be provided, and the Hugo House has cleared out a space for everyone to work side by side.Â
Whether you’re a game dev veteran or looking to try out making a game for the first time, all skill levels are welcome. There will also be a secret theme revealed at the start of the jam!
Hope to see you there!
What is a Game Jam?
A game jam is an event hosted by Seattle Indies where video game developers, artists, and musicians race against time to build a playable game from scratch. This is typically during a specific timeframe, and can last from 48 hours to a few weeks. However, Game Jam participants must incorporate a secret theme or set of constraints.
On Aug 15th to Aug 16th, come see video game devs work in our Lapis Theater to create a video game based off of a "secret theme" announced on Aug 15th at 11:00 AM!
Return on August 22, 6:30-8:30 PM for a Game Showcase & Awards Ceremony in the Lapis Theater, where participants will be able to present their games.
