Claudia Rowe

Claudia Rowe’s memoir / crime nonfiction hybrid, The Spider and the Fly (Dey Street), won the Washington State Book Award in 2018 and has been optioned for film. Her follow-up, Time Out (Amazon Original Stories), examines juvenile justice through the story of a 13-year-old sentenced to 23 years in the Washington prison system. Rowe’s journalism has been published in The New York Times, Seattle Times, Seattle Post-Intelligencer and Mother Jones.
