About the Writer and Performer
Lora-Ellen McKinney is a writer and lecturer. She holds a BA from Vassar College, psychology degrees from the University of Washington (MS, developmental psychology; Ph.D., clinical psychology) and a MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School.
About the Director
Shanga Parker is a tenured professor at the University of Washington’s School of Drama and leads their BA program. He’s also a prolific, award-winning theater artist whose national directing credits include “Radium Girls,” The Miracle Worker,” “Fool for Love” and “Art.” Parker has acted in numerous film, television and theater productions. His original works include “Langston,” “No Regrets” and a screenplay adaptation of a business school textbook, “Management Information Systems.”
