Seattle collegiate poetry slam team showcase featuring Tara Hardy

A night of poetry and music from Seattle’s FIRST collegiate poetry slam team, a powerhouse of all-female poets graduated from the youth poetry slam scenes in Seattle and Denver.

Rose McAleese, Robin Park, Shelby Handler, Mary Lambert and Shanay Salas come together to share their pieces and build momentum for their trip to compete in the National College Unions’ Poetry Slam Invitational in Boston. The ladies of CUPSI will share the stage with spoken word artist Tara Hardy, founder of the Bent Writing Institute. In the Cabaret. Admission is $10. Co-sponsored by Richard Hugo House.
