The Zookeeper, Novel Reading

Former Poet Laureate Zach Polis will read an excerpt from his novel, The Zookeeper. In this feral, tongue-in-cheek coming-of-age story, Edward, an autistic zookeeper, is kicked out of his parents’ house, but refuses to pay rent, so he lives at the zoo undetected, evading co-workers and the public, as his notoriety— and Edward Lemur Trust Fund— grows.
