UW Castalia

Castalia is a monthly reading series featuring graduate students, faculty, and alumni from the University of Washington MFA program. Use the “Tickets” button above to access the Zoom meeting. Readings begin at 7:30 pm.

writes under the name Katie Kalahan, with a K. They are pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington and hold a BFA in Printmaking/Drawing and English Literature from Washington University in Saint Louis. Her work is published in The Ear, Thin Air Magazine, and is forthcoming in Witness Magazine’s Fall/Winter Issue.

is a poet from Los Angeles, California. She holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, where she received the Beau J. Boudreaux Poetry Award and the Jimmy Gauntt Memorial Award. Her poems are published in Gravel, Columbia Journal, and pioneertown.

is a teacher living in Seattle. He’s from Ransom Canyon, Texas. He got his bachelor’s degree at Texas Tech University and his MFA at UW.
