than with an improvised play based on the work of American writer and humanist Kurt Vonnegut (Cat’s Cradle, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Breakfast of Champions)?
In this event, the Bibliophilia Players will new create a fun, improvised (improvised meaning on-the-spot—that’s right, without a script!) play based on audience suggestions. Like Vonnegut—known for his satirical literary style, deconstruction of time, humor, and science-fiction elements—the Players will tell a story by jumping around in time while exploring the lovely (and awful) things humans do.
This event is in coproduction with Unexpected Productions, creators of Unexpected Vonnegut. It is sponsored by Word Lit Zine in coproduction with Hugo House.
Word Lit Zine is a quarterly publication for readers and writers. Our goal is to give people something to get excited about. Each issue is jam-packed with local fiction and poetry, articles, interviews, puzzles and games, and so much more. Find out more at wordlitzine.com.
