As Deep As You: Creating Complex Characters [Corinne Manning]

All Levels | This class on character development for fiction and nonfiction writers explores techniques and methods for creating characters that are as complex as you are. We will use current events and literature as mentor texts to study how tension builds in a narrative when characters disregard each other’s depth and complexity. Class meetings will feature readings, discussion and in class exercises. Writers will be challenged to write from their own experience, failures, and desires.
