Experimental Essays [Waverly Fitzgerald]

The essay is a fluid and experimental form, and in this class we will push the boundaries of what is possible, working on essays that include found text, interweave poetry and prose, and take advantage of technology. We’ll read excellent examples of essays and write in class and at home. Writers can use these techniques as sections within a longer work or produce five separate essays during our six weeks together.
