FREE Writing for Environmental Justice: A Skills Workshop [Laura Da’]
All Levels | In this time of climate catastrophe, members of environmental justice groups are leading the charge to create a just transition toward a regenerative and equitable world. One skill in their toolbox to create change is storytelling. In this free Earth Day skills workshop, we will deepen this ability by practicing observational techniques. We’ll work to create place-snapshots of our communities or landscapes and take time to recenter from the hard work of activism through journaling. Students will leave with prompts for future writing.
The first 50 spots are reserved for members of local environmental justice groups and communities facing climate racism. Contact lily@hugohouse.org for this special registration.
