Hugo at the Henry: The Senses in Reading and Writing (University District) [Anca Szilágyi]
We’ll delve into the common SENSE, an exhibit at the Henry Art Gallery about the sense of touch and our relationship to nature. Being touched, emotionally and intellectually, is an important component of the show that’s explored through people’s relationship to reading. We’ll discuss the exhibit and the nature of being moved by reading, engage in a reading and writing activity that contributes to the exhibit, and write creative responses to our experiences at the museum.
This class will meet at the Henry Art Gallery (4100 15th Ave. NE, Seattle, WA 98105).
