Intermediate Poetry Workshop [Jill Leininger]

Time: 12:00am - 12:00am PT
Capacity: seat
Member Price: $220.50
General Price: $245.00

Proust said that, in art, “we see the world multiply itself.” This intermediate poetry workshop will use imitation as a way of reading more deeply into the work of poets we love, as well as a method of finding new facets to our own lines and voices. If you’ve already written enough to be just a little tired of your own habits of thinking on the page, this might be just the jolt you need. Readings will be jointly selected.

Hugo House is temporarily moving! May 19 is the last date Hugo House will hold classes at its current location. Starting May 20, Hugo House classes will be held at 1021 Columbia Street, Seattle, WA 98104.

This class will change locations in week 2.

Hugo House will only process refund requests that are submitted 5 business days or more before the class start date. To request a refund, log in to your account, go to “My Account,” select the “Orders” tab on the left-hand side, click the appropriate order, and request a refund for your specific class. Administrative fees apply. Please see our full refund policy here.

Class sessions may be recorded if a session falls on a holiday, or if a student has access needs. Class recordings are not guaranteed.

We do not tolerate racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist, transphobic or any other oppressive behaviors, regardless of who commits them. Please check out our full community guidelines by clicking here.
