Poetry Generation Intensive [Lisa Gluskin Stonestreet]
All Levels | When generating new poems, we can find ourselves going back to the same well again and again, never considering new watersheds. In this class, students will explore techniques for generating new poems, drawing on one’s own and others’ poems. We’ll look at methods for initiating, guiding, and expanding drafts and workshop poems with an eye to opening them up to further invention. Students will emerge with 10 to 15 drafts and a tools for generating new material.

Class sessions may be recorded if a session falls on a holiday, or if a student has access needs. Class recordings are not guaranteed.

Classes may be cancelled if less than 5 students are enrolled within 10 days before the class start date. If for any reason Hugo House needs to cancel a class, students can choose between a full credit or full refund.
