Suspense is holding your breath, waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it's a gift to your readers in any genre. Suspense is about heightened emotions. This workshop will show how to wrap surprise gifts of suspense in your story's setting/mood, character development, clues (not just for mysteries), and conflict. The presentation is interactive. The class also includes writing exercises applicable to the attendees' works in process.
