Writing a Screenplay That Doesn’t Suck [Sonya Lea]
Learn from a Nicholl Fellow how to avoid making novice mistakes in your screenplay. In this six-week class, you’ll find out how to create a clear protagonist, understand genre and tone, pare down, pass the Bechdel Test, end superficiality, and keep all your character flaws on the page. We’ll read and write scenes, and you’ll leave with an opening act and a plan to create a dynamic script.
This class will take place online via OneRoom.
