Writing and Sound [Gust Burns]

We will examine the relationships between writing words and recording sounds, between reading texts and listening to music in order to develop new writing or enhance writing projects in progress. Through activities like sound journaling and field recordings, students of all levels and genres will develop techniques to explore the intersection of writing and sound and incorporate those discoveries into their own writing.
