Writing the Light

In this class, students will use photographic images as prompts for writing fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Students will start out by viewing and discussing photos presented by the instructor to respond to writing prompts and will eventually move into taking photos of their own that they feel tell a story or create a mood that they want to write about. Students will leave this class with a variety of written work inspired by visual imagery.
