APRIL in April

The sixth and final Authors, Publishers and Readers of Independent Literature (APRIL) festival is condensed into one lit-packed day, and it all happens at Hugo House.

Between noon and midnight, APRIL 2017 will feature:

• A book expo (see the list of participating publishers);
• Performances throughout the day from local favorites including Elissa Washuta, Sarah Galvin, Matthew Simmons, Quenton Baker, and many more;
• A very special dinner reading with Jayinee Basu, Tommy Pico, and Anastacia-Renee;
• Poetry experiments with Vis-a-Vis Society;
• An all-star edition of the competitive storytelling event, A Poet, a Playwright, a Novelist, and a Drag Queen;
• And a closing party to dance the night away and say goodbye!
