Book Launch Party for Garth Stein’s A Sudden Light
A literary-fiction ghost story, Seattleite Stein’s A Sudden Light follows young Trevor Riddell as he explores the secrets of his new family home. At the party, Stein, author of the best-selling The Art of Racing in the Rain, will read several excerpts from the novel. But first, The Rejections and Trailing Spouses (a band of authors), will play songs that are thematically relevant to the book. After the performance and reading follows a discussion between Peter Mountford and Garth Stein about this book and other interesting bookish subjects, plus a Q&A from the audience. And then the audience is adjourned to get their book signed, chat with Garth, and join the reception!
Elliott Bay Book Company provides the books. The bar will be open, and the event is free.
